Greencross Vets Palm Beach is looking for an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and collaborative team on a part-time basis.
Located on the beautiful southern Gold Coast, just minutes from the beach, local cafés, and the relaxed Palm Beach village atmosphere, our clinic offers the perfect combination of a rewarding veterinary career and an enviable lifestyle.
This opportunity is ideal for an experienced nurse who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, values high clinical standards, and thrives as part of a supportive team. Due to the pace and complexity of our caseload, this role is not suitable for recent graduates and would best suit a nurse who can confidently step into the role and work with minimal supervision.

About the Role
As a Veterinary Nurse at Palm Beach, you'll play an integral role in the day-to-day running of the clinic while delivering outstanding patient care and client service.
We're ideally looking for someone with full availability across clinic operating hours, as flexibility is highly valued within the team.
Your responsibilities will include:

Surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring

Hospital nursing and patient care

Treatment nursing and pathology collection

Assisting veterinarians with consultations and procedures

Laboratory and diagnostic support
-
Monitoring and caring for hospitalised patients
-
Client communication and education
-
Reception support when required
-
Maintaining high clinical and infection-control standards
-
Supporting a positive and collaborative team culture
This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same.
About You
We're looking for someone who:

Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)

Has previous experience working as a Veterinary Nurse in a busy clinical environment

Is confident across a broad range of nursing duties

Has strong surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring skills

Is able to work independently and confidently when required

Enjoys working as part of a collaborative team

Demonstrates excellent communication and client care skills
-
Remains calm and organised in a fast-paced environment
-
Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
While we welcome nurses at different stages of their careers, this role is not suitable for new or recently graduated nurses, as we require someone who can confidently support the clinic from day one.
