Verification & Test Lead Engineer (m/f/d)

About the Role OHB SE is seeking a Verification & Test Lead Engineer (m/f/d) for a permanent position in Bremen or Oberpfaffenhofen. You will define, plan, and oversee the integration, verification, and validation (V&V) strategy for complex multi-domain systems (space, ground, and user segments), ensuring components are tested and integrated according to project requirements, quality standards, and performance criteria. What You'll Do

• Define the overall test and verification strategy across system domains (space, ground, user, core).
• Develop test plans, verification matrices, and integration roadmaps.
• Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and verification results.
• Manage integration strategy for system components from subcontractors and internal teams.
• Oversee system-level tests (functional, performance, environmental, security).
• Prepare verification reports and contribute to system qualification and acceptance.
• Support risk assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Represent the V&V function in internal and external reviews, including audits. What We're Looking For
• Degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in test and verification of complex systems, preferably in aerospace, defense, or critical infrastructure domains.
• Proven experience managing multi-partner or subcontractor integration and verification environments.
• Strong knowledge of system engineering processes, V-model, and requirement-based testing.
• Experience with V&V and integration management tools (e.g., DOORS, TestRail, JIRA) and test automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with hardware/software integration, simulation environments, and test benches.
• Understanding of relevant standards (ECSS, ISO, DO-178C, MIL-STD) and regulatory compliance.
• ISTQB Certified Test Manager or similar certifications a plus. Nice to Have
