About the Role Venues Merchandise Seller at live venues, part-time seasonal role. You will be assigned to and responsible for a point of sale selling artist merchandise, with duties before, during and after events to prepare displays, manage inventory, and finalize remaining stock. What You'll Do
- Provide prompt and thorough customer service to fans
- Maintain accurate cash handling and process purchases using the POS
- Properly handle guest credit/debit cards and related transactions
- Prepare stand display before the event so fans know what is for sale
- Inventory: count items before the event and again at the end of the show
- Assist fans with merchandise information such as pricing and sizing
- Work in a fast-paced, often loud but exciting environment
- Maintain your stand throughout the duration of the event
- Show CARE by participating in the venue's sustainability program (e.g., sorting waste, collecting recycling, educating others) What We're Looking For
- Customer-service oriented mindset with a focus on guest experience
- Ability to handle cash and operate the POS system accurately
- Comfortable handling guest payment methods (credit/debit cards) and related transactions
- Ability to set up and maintain an attractive stand display prior to events
- Strong attention to inventory and ability to count stock before and after shows
- Excellent product knowledge and the ability to convey pricing and sizing information
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, loud, live-event environment
- Willingness to participate in sustainability initiatives and maintain CARE standards
