About the Role Live Nation is seeking a Venue Security team member to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and touring personnel at the venue. Responsibilities include patrolling the interior and exterior areas, screening guests, managing barricade activity, maintaining situational awareness, and de-escalating as needed. This role requires clear, consistent communication with staff, supervisors, and management. What You'll Do
- Patrol among guests and/or employees to preserve safety, order and to protect venue property
- Walk through the crowd to emphasize security presence within the building
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, guests, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security and safety of the premises
- Write reports and/or contact logs of daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual/problematic occurrences
- Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
- Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into the venue (CEIA OPENGATE systems, Garret Handheld Magnetometer)
- Perform 1-1 screenings that may include pat-downs, visual screening and bag/personal item screening
