About the Role Venue Merchandise Specialist is a part-time, seasonal role supporting Live Nation's venue merchandise operations. You’ll work on show days to inventory, display, and sell artist merchandise under the supervision of the venue Merchandise Manager. What You'll Do
- Provide an exceptional merchandise purchasing experience for all guests and fans at Live Nation venues.
- Fulfill guest orders in a timely fashion, ensuring correct items and sizes as requested.
- Accurately ring up guest purchases in Live Nation’s sales system.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Live Nation, its local sponsors, and the venue.
- Participate in inventory count-in and count-out procedures.
- Create visually appealing displays and price items correctly.
- Complete sales transactions and support successful sales operations at each event.
- Contribute to a positive work environment.
- Perform physical duties as required by the role, such as moving equipment or transferring merchandise between locations.
- Take direction from the venue's Merchandise Manager. What We're Looking For
- Detail-oriented with accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Quick thinker who can respond to guest requests.
- Guest oriented, focusing on guest requests.
- Team-driven, working as part of a larger unit.
- Polite and professional interaction with guests.
- Self-starters who require minimal supervision.
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
- Guest service experience is desirable; retail sales background not required.
- Prior experience not as important as attitude and interpersonal skills.
- Availability for the entire concert day, with shifts up to 15 hours (with breaks).
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work in outdoor environments with potential extreme temperatures.
- Working understanding of touch-screen based systems.
- Must be 18 years of age. Nice to Have
- Guest service experience is desirable.
