About the Role
As a Venue Merchandise Seller, you will be assigned to a point of sale in the venue and responsible for selling artist merchandise. You will handle inventory before the event, set up displays, and close out after events with a final merchandise count. You will help deliver an excellent fan experience while processing transactions and supporting sustainability efforts. What You'll Do
- Ensure an excellent fan experience by providing prompt and thorough customer service.
- Maintain accurate cash handling while processing purchases with the POS.
- Properly handle guest credit/debit cards and applicable transactions.
- Prepare your stand display before the event begins so fans can view what's for sale.
- Inventory – items counted before start and again at the end of the show.
- Assist fans with merchandise information such as pricing and sizing.
- Work in a fast-paced, often loud, but exciting environment.
- Maintain your stand throughout the duration of the event.
- Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program (sorting waste, collecting recycling, and educating fans about our efforts). What We're Looking For
- Must be able to work up to 12 hours per shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs using proper lifting techniques.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Reliable transportation due to hours.
- Strong communication skills.
- Cash handling experience. Nice to Have
- Prior relatable experience is a plus.
