About this role

About the Role The Concerts Technology team is seeking a Venue IT Specialist to provide on-site IT and A/V support at Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre. This part-time/seasonal role runs March through October 2026 and focuses on maintaining venue technology, supporting staff, and ensuring critical tech operates during events. What You'll Do

  • Provide onsite IT troubleshooting assistance to venue staff (administrative, operations, and production).
  • Identify, track, and help resolve recurring issues, escalating to remote support per procedures.
  • Act as onsite liaison with remote IT teams for troubleshooting venue technology.
  • Serve as the onsite contact and provide access for visiting IT service providers.
  • Provide onsite assistance to tour production, helping to establish artist internet connectivity and fulfill IT rider requirements.
  • Provide proactive day-of-show IT support to ensure POS, access control, and other tech are ready before gates open.
  • Assist with deployment, inventory management, and maintenance of onsite IT equipment including POS terminals.
  • Develop and leverage knowledge of the venue network connectivity and deployed technologies.
  • Participate in seasonal IT prep, validation, shutdown, and winterization.
  • Assist with extending existing venue IT infrastructure or implementing new infrastructure for events such as festivals or private events.
  • Ensure proper operation of digital menu boards, digital wayfinding signs, TVs, satellite dishes, and audio systems throughout the venue. What We're Looking For
  • Experience with and in-depth knowledge of Apple iOS, Windows, and network technologies.
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with a professional style.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to troubleshoot independently.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable, capable of working independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing and potentially stressful work environment.
  • Valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and a clean driving record.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends and extended hours for events and summer festivals.
  • Availability to consistently provide event support (shifts may change to meet business needs).
