Job title: Vendor Coordinator
About the Role Precision Castparts is seeking a Vendor Coordinator within Operations to manage vendor interactions and ensure prompt and accurate delivery of product to appropriate locations. The role includes inspecting incoming deliveries to verify conformance with QCM/QCI requirements and coordinating outside processing to align with shop schedules and customer requirements.
What You'll Do
- Shift: M-F 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- Deal directly with vendors to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of product to appropriate locations.
- Inspect product upon delivery to verify delivered product specifications match adherence to all QCM/QCI requirements.
- Review and schedule outside processing product loads to insure that shop floor schedules and customer requirements are met.
- Communicate with vendors in regards to week/monthly delivery requirements and capacity thru-put issues.
- Ensure vendor adherence to all QCM/QCI requirements (i.e., Tech cards, certifications, etc).
