About the Role The Virtual Design & Data Solutions (VDDS) Staff Engineering Technician will support Nuclear projects within Black & Veatch's Power Providers Market Sector. You will contribute to the development of high-quality 2D/3D electrical design deliverables and support electrical systems design for advanced power generation facilities, using Bentley MicroStation and other Bentley tools. This role is part of a global nuclear program and may include requirements related to citizenship. What You'll Do
- Create and modify electrical design drawings using Bentley MicroStation and other Bentley tools to deliver accurate 2D/3D designs.
- Support duct bank design, cable tray design, grounding, lighting, and other electrical systems for nuclear facilities; AGI32 experience for lighting design is preferred.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to develop and verify design deliverables and ensure compliance with Nuclear program requirements and project schedules. What We're Looking For
- Electrical engineering knowledge with ability to apply fundamental principles to electrical systems design.
- Experience creating and modifying 2D/3D electrical design deliverables, using Bentley MicroStation and other Bentley tools.
- Familiarity with AGI32 for lighting design preferred.
- Ability to work under general supervision and in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Willingness to comply with citizenship requirements for the global nuclear program. Nice to Have
- AGI32 lighting design experience.
