VC Fund Accountant Associate | $115K–$130K + Bonus + Excellent Benefits
This is not a “just close the books and move on” kind of role.
I’m working with a leading, technology-focused venture capital platform managing nearly $6B across multiple fund families, investing in AI, enterprise software, fintech, robotics, and deep tech.
They’re looking for a Fund Accountant Associate who goes beyond routine accounting — someone who thinks critically, asks the right questions, takes ownership, and understands the why behind the numbers.
💡 What You’ll Do
- Own monthly and quarterly close activities across VC funds and SPVs
- Prepare NAVs, capital accounts, allocations, and LP reporting schedules
- Support valuations, portfolio performance updates, audits, and tax
- Coordinate with fund administrators and external service providers
- Support investment transactions, cash tracking, and regulatory filings
- Improve processes and leverage AI tools like Claude to automate repetitive work
Who They’re Looking For
- 2–5 years in fund accounting, fund administration, public accounting, or VC/PE finance
- Strong Excel skills and an understanding of fund mechanics
- An analytical thinker who exercises independent judgment and solves problems — not simply someone who follows instructions
- Curious about technology, automation, and AI
- CPA or CPA-track is a plus
