About this role

Varsity Baseball Head Coach

Mission Statement Regis High School transforms Catholic young men into leaders devoted to Deo et Patriae and lifelong service as Men for Others. Merit based and committed to families with financial need, Regis provides an academically exceptional, tuition-free Jesuit education within a caring community.

About Regis Regis High School is a Catholic, Jesuit college-preparatory school for 537 young men in grades 9–12 in New York City, and the only Jesuit, full-scholarship high school in the country. Founded in 1914 through the generosity of an anonymous woman and her family, Regis offers a tuition-free Jesuit education: every student attends on a full merit scholarship, made possible by the philanthropy of alumni, parents and friends.

Position Summary The Varsity Baseball Head Coach leads the varsity baseball program, including team management, coaching, player development, and program administration, while working under the direction of the Director of Athletics. The coach builds a competitive, disciplined and close-knit team that reflects Regis's mission of forming leaders devoted to lifelong service as Men for Others. Regis baseball teams compete in the Catholic High School Athletic Association (CHSAA). The program's highlight is its annual spring training trip to Florida, a tradition that players, parents and alumni value deeply. The Head Coach is responsible for fall ball, winter workouts, and the spring season, including a spring training trip to Florida (typically in March, for approximately 4-5 days).
