We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Van Sales Representative

Location: Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

  • Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify and onboard new customers, including bars, restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, liquor stores, and other relevant outlets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
  • Actively promote the company's wine and spirits portfolio to customers.
  • Identify opportunities to increase product range and order value per outlet.
  • Follow up on customer orders and ensure timely delivery.

Route & Outlet Management:

  • Follow the assigned daily route and maintain consistent outlet coverage.
  • Visit the required number of outlets each day.
  • Conduct regular market visits to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Ensure products are properly displayed and available at customer outlets.
  • Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, product availability, and activities.
  • Provide accurate market feedback to the Trade/Sales Manager.

Van & Stock Management:

  • Take full responsibility for the company van and products assigned for daily sales activities.
  • Ensure all products loaded onto the van are properly documented.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock issued, sold, returned, and damaged.
  • Conduct daily stock reconciliation.
  • Ensure the van is clean, secure, and maintained in good condition.
  • Report any vehicle faults, accidents, stock losses, or discrepancies immediately.

Customer & Payment Management:

  • Collect payments from customers in line with company-approved payment procedures.
  • Issue appropriate invoices/receipts where required.
  • Follow up on outstanding customer payments.
  • Maintain accurate customer records.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate unresolved issues appropriately.

Reporting & Compliance:

  • Submit daily sales and activity reports.

  • Provide accurate information on sales, outlet visits, new customers, stock movement, collections, and market activities.

  • Ensure compliance with company sales procedures, pricing policies, credit limits, and approved promotions.

  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions as required.

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Achievement of monthly sales revenue target.

  • Achievement of monthly volume/case target.

  • Daily outlet coverage target.

  • Number of new active outlets acquired monthly.

  • Customer retention rate.

  • Average sales value per outlet.

  • Product distribution and SKU penetration.

  • Collection/payment performance.

  • Stock variance and reconciliation accuracy.

  • Product returns and damages.

  • Compliance with assigned routes and reporting requirements.

  • Product availability and visibility within assigned outlets

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with experience.

Salary

N150,000 per month.
