About the Role

Value & Access Insights Senior Associate (US Remote) is a key member of the US Value and Access Portfolio Coverage & Pricing team responsible for analyzing federal and state healthcare policies impacting Amgen and the biopharmaceutical industry. The role involves developing financial models and forecasts to evaluate how policy changes affect pricing, reimbursement, patient access, revenue, and overall performance, with cross-functional collaboration across value and access, finance, government affairs, marketing, and legal. The position offers opportunities to develop deep expertise in the U.S. healthcare ecosystem and the ability to translate complex policy environments into actionable business insights. What You'll Do

• Monitor and assess emerging federal and state healthcare policy trends.

• Forecast the financial implications of proposed and enacted legislation.

• Quantify risks and opportunities associated with policy changes.

• Develop scenario analyses and business impact assessments.

• Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

• Engage cross-functionally with value and access, finance, government affairs, marketing, legal, and other stakeholders.

• Develop financial models and forecasts to evaluate potential policy changes on pricing, reimbursement, coverage, patient access, revenue, and performance.

• Synthesize complex policy environments into measurable business outcomes and communicate findings effectively to senior leadership. What We're Looking For

• Strong analytical and financial acumen; ability to synthesize complex policy environments into measurable business outcomes.

• Experience with developing financial models and forecasts to evaluate policy impact.

• Ability to forecast financial implications of proposed and enacted legislation.

• Proficiency in conducting both qualitative and quantitative assessments of policy proposals.

• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams (value and access, finance, government affairs, marketing, legal) and with senior leadership.

• Knowledge of the U.S. healthcare ecosystem, including reimbursement, coverage, pricing, and policy.
