Job title: UX/UI Designer
About the Role TripleTen is seeking experienced UX/UI Design professionals to mentor and guide students on their path to becoming professional developers. This is a full-time teaching role with a 40-hour work week and a flexible schedule, requiring consistent availability to support students throughout their learning journey.
What You'll Do
- Host regular live Q&A sessions to help students unblock and progress confidently
- Offer personalized 1:1 video calls to answer questions and guide assignments
- Occasionally respond to student questions via direct messages
- Lead live lessons on core program topics and industry-relevant skills
- Share your professional insights and best practices to support the learning community
- Review student projects and provide feedback based on program standards
- Write clear, actionable feedback to help students improve and meet expectations
- Support students in text by explaining concepts, troubleshooting code, and clarifying project or review questions
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in UX/UI Design
- Design Thinking and Visual Design: applying user-centered design principles, creating visually appealing and functional designs, and adjusting them based on user needs and feedback
- UX Research and Usability Testing: skilled in conducting and analyzing user interviews, usability tests, and contextual inquiries
- Prototyping and Interaction Design: proficient with tools like Figma, Sketch, or InVision for wireframing and interactive prototyping
- UI Design Systems and Accessibility: building scalable design systems and adhering to accessibility guidelines
- Ability to explain complex topics in understandable terms
- Patience and empathy toward students
Nice to Have
- Teaching or tutoring experience
- Have your own experience as a student online, and the desire to help create the best place in the world to study UX/UI Design
