Role overview

Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a UX/UI Designer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in the USA. Our client is one of the world’s largest and fastest-growing job sites.

The messaging team is looking for a UX Designer to drive quality and innovation across the messaging experiences on the job seeker mobile app and desktop web, serving both job seekers and employers. The role includes designing new AI-powered messaging features and improving responsiveness between employers and job seekers so that more conversations lead to hires. This is an individual contributor design role, not a lead or strategy role.

Must-Have Skills

• 4+ years of product/UX design experience.
• Strong UX/interaction design skills, not just visual/brand design.
• Experience building components for a modular/component-based design system.
• Experience with responsive and mobile-first web design.
• Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA).
• Comfort designing within the technical constraints of a CMS.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize within ambiguous, broad scope. Proficiency with Figma (component libraries, Auto Layout, etc.).
• Experience with Claude and Claude Code.
• Experience using AI-assisted design tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, or Figma AI) is preferred
• CMS experience (platform-agnostic), with an understanding of how CMS constraints shape component design.
• At least 2+ years working within or creating a design system/component library.
• Experience shipping responsive, web-based marketing or product pages in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute design work against the Career Sites Capability Backlog, starting with Chatbot and sequencing work with Product post-onboarding.

• Build net new components for the modular/component-based design system within CMS constraints.

• Design and refine key experiences across the Main Careers Landing Page, Job Board, Custom Campaign Landing Pages, and cross-cutting platform work including theming/branding, accessibility, SEO, and responsive/mobile parity.

• Nice-to-Have Skills

• Marketing, landing page, or campaign page design experience.

• B2B or enterprise SaaS experience.

• SEO-aware design experience.

• Chatbot or conversational UX design experience.

• Familiarity with recruiting/HR tech or similar sales-enablement client sites.

• Ecommerce design background.
