Job title: UX Designer - Infrastructure
About the Role Canonical is seeking a UX Designer focused on infrastructure to help design intuitive user experiences for infrastructure tooling used by enterprise customers. This fully remote role covers the EMEA region and supports Canonical's Ubuntu-based platform and ecosystem.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with product managers, researchers, and engineers to shape infrastructure UX for Canonical's tools.
- Create user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and detailed design specifications.
- Improve usability and consistency of infrastructure tooling across Ubuntu-based products.
- Contribute to design systems and maintain design quality across multiple teams.
What We're Looking For
- Experience designing UX for infrastructure, DevOps, or platform tooling.
- Strong user-centered design skills with a solid portfolio.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or similar.
- Ability to work remotely and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the EMEA region.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with open-source software or the Ubuntu ecosystem.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and inclusive design.
