Job title: UTA / CTA als Probenehmer (m/w/d) Umwelt
About the Role This role involves conducting sampling across environmental areas (water: groundwater, surface water and drinking water; solids such as waste, soil, reused wood and sediments). You will be the first on-site contact for customers on sampling topics and ensure the maintenance of equipment and the sample collection vehicle. Documentation of results according to quality standards.
What You'll Do
- Perform sampling in various environmental areas (e.g., water – groundwater, surface water and drinking water – and solid samples such as waste, soil, recycled/used wood and sediments) on-site
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers regarding sampling on-site
- Maintain and service sampling equipment and take care of the sampling vehicle
- Document results in line with quality standards
What We're Looking For
- Natural science or technical training, e.g., UTA (Umweltschutz-Technischer Assistent), CTA (Chemisch-Technischer Assistent), Lab technician, wastewater technician, Ver- und Entsorger, locksmith (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification
- Career changers with technical understanding and experience in technical activities and recognized professional training are welcome
- Willingness to learn; training provided to conduct various sampling methods
- Enjoyment of a varied field service role, including some physical work and direct customer contact
- Organized, reliable and independent work style
- Valid Class B driver’s license and willingness to travel regionally around the residence
- Fluent German language skills in speaking and writing (minimum C1)
