About the Role Our Team: This position reports into the US Medical Next Gen Immunology team, a segment of the Medical Specialty Care organization. The Medical function partners with Clinical, Commercial, Regulatory, and Market Access to support patients through therapeutic solutions. The US Medical Immunology team focuses on neurological conditions including multiple sclerosis and CIDP, driving strategic leadership in an evolving portfolio.

What You'll Do

  • Provide strategic leadership to the US Medical Affairs Next Gen Immunology team (Medical Directors, MSL Managers, and Medical Science Liaisons) to deliver key priorities and develop/t retain top talent.
  • Manage a team of Medical Directors responsible for field training and MSL operations; model values-aligned leadership (Aim Higher, Act for Patients, Be Bold, Lead Together).
  • Develop strategy and tactics for an integrated Medical Plan spanning Medical Science Liaisons, Medical Education, Medical Communications and Publications, Health Outcomes, Safety, and Clinical Research (Phase IIIB-IV and Investigator Sponsored Trials) across neurology.
  • Provide cross-portfolio medical strategy and scientific expertise to Clinical, Commercial, Market Access, and Regulatory partners at Global and US levels.
  • Lead medical and scientific advisory boards to translate insights into actionable medical strategy.
  • Provide medical review and approval of promotional and medical materials in compliance with corporate standards and regulations.
  • Support execution of US Phase IIIB-IV clinical study programs.
  • Review and approve Investigator Sponsored Trial concepts and protocols per SOPs.
  • Partner with US Drug Safety on adverse events, post-marketing safety data, and safety signal communications.
  • Develop and maintain close relationships with Key Thought Leaders in the medical and scientific community.
  • Leverage AI-enabled evidence generation and LLM-focused education platforms to drive strategy across the Neurology pipeline.

What We're Looking For

  • Education: Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD or equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years in Medical Affairs with Pre-Launch, Clinical Development, Launch, and Life Cycle Management; cross-portfolio Neurology experience required.
  • Track record in developing/executing US medical strategies; strong people management and development experience.
  • Experience using AI tools to drive internal/external impact; Ophthalmology experience preferred.
  • Skills: Executive presence, clinical development expertise, scientific acumen, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, results orientation.

Nice to Have

  • Ophthalmology experience (preferred).
