Job title: Unskilled Production Laborer
About the Role This role involves performing unskilled production labor duties at Bachoco USA Foods locations, under supervision. You’ll work at assigned stations and may fill in for other production staff as needed. The position is safety-sensitive and requires adherence to all procedures and shift hours (Mon-Fri, 5:00 PM - 2:00 AM).
What You'll Do
- Perform various unskilled production labor duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Work at assigned work station or other stations as production needs require.
- Fill in for other production employees due to absences, vacations, etc.
- Follow safety procedures and operate equipment and materials properly.
What We're Looking For
- No prior experience or training required.
- Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers; ability to print and speak simple sentences.
- Reasoning ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions; be able to deal with standardized situations with occasional or no variables.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds; good near and depth vision.
- Willingness to work in a safety-sensitive, fast-paced environment; ability to work Monday–Friday night shift (5:00 PM – 2:00 AM) and overtime as needed.
- Attendance and dependability; follows instructions and management direction.
