Job title: Unskilled Production Labor

Description: Performs unskilled production labor duties at Bachoco USA Foods locations on a Monday–Friday schedule (2:30 PM – 11:30 PM). This role supports production operations as assigned by a supervisor and may fill in for other employees as needed.

What You'll Do

• Work at the assigned workstation or other stations with equivalent job requirements as production needs require and as assigned by supervisor.
• Fill in for other production employees with lesser or equivalent job requirements due to absences, vacations, production needs, etc.
• Follow policies and procedures; observe safety and security procedures; use equipment and materials properly.
• Adapt to changes in the work environment; deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

What We're Looking For

• No prior experience or training required.
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers; ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to count.
• Reasoning ability: apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions; able to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
• Physical Demands: regularly stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; close vision and depth perception.
• Work Environment: regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles; extreme hot; occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; loud noise.
