We are seeking an inspirational and dynamic Assistant Store Manager in Oxon Hill, MD to support the Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing our team of Sales Associates to achieve all sales, customer service and operational targets. Responsibilities
- Assist the Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing the sales team to meet or exceed sales, customer service and operational targets
- Foster an inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service environment
- Support performance management through coaching and mentoring to achieve sales and service goals
- Contribute to effective retail operations, including inventory management and cash reconciliation
- Support scheduling and execution of retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events to maintain store coverage and performance
- Collaborate with the team to maintain visual standards and store presentation consistent with brand guidelines
Requirements
- Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
- Previous supervisory experience with a proven track record of coaching/mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Retail operations experience including inventory management and cash reconciliation
- Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
