About this role
The Global Medical Director will provide medical expertise and strategic guidance throughout the lifecycle of innovative cardiovascular therapies, including coronary, structural heart, and renal denervation technologies. The role involves partnering with Clinical, R&D, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and Commercial teams to support clinical evidence generation, product development, patient safety, and medical strategy. Responsibilities include providing medical leadership and benefit-risk assessments, overseeing clinical studies, supporting protocol development and patient safety monitoring, evaluating clinical data, managing post-market surveillance and safety signals, and representing the company with regulatory authorities, key opinion leaders, professional societies, and advisory boards. The role also contributes clinical expertise to innovation, portfolio strategy, business development, product development, due diligence, and the training and mentorship of medical and cross-functional teams.
