VIC Electrician
About this role
Omnidian is seeking a VIC Electrician based in Melbourne to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in compliance with local safety standards and Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) regulations.
Responsibilities
- Install electrical systems, including wiring, lighting fixtures, switchboards, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot by diagnosing electrical faults using testing equipment such as multimeters and clamp meters.
- Maintain and repair wiring, switches, and other electrical components.
- Conduct mandatory electrical safety tests on new and existing installations.
- Read and follow architectural blueprints and technical diagrams.
Requirements
- A Grade Licence: Valid Victorian A Grade Electrician Licence issued by Energy Safe Victoria (ESV).
- Education: Completion of an electrical apprenticeship (Certificate III in Electrotechnology).
