About this role
Unit Process Excellence is offering an internship in Singapore for a Full Stack Developer focused on analytics for backend sites. The role provides hands-on experience with end-to-end project work in a high-impact, industry-grade analytics project, spanning development to deployment, in a manufacturing context.
Responsibilities

Application Development: Design, develop, and implement scalable analytics tools for backend sites using modern web technologies.

Backend Engineering: Create and maintain backend APIs and databases to securely and efficiently store and retrieve performance metrics.

Frontend Development: Implement user-friendly, responsive interfaces to improve usability for operational teams.

System Maintenance: Troubleshoot, update, and maintain existing solutions to enhance usability and performance.

Internship Learning Outcomes: Gain hands-on experience contributing to a high-impact analytics project from development to deployment; build expertise in data-driven problem-solving and process optimization; learn to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams; strengthen technical and project management skills through exposure to advanced tools and methodologies used in backend manufacturing.

Your Profile

Education: On track to attain a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer-related field with a research-oriented mindset.

Programming Knowledge: Solid understanding of front-end and back-end programming languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript/React for frontend; Node.js, Django, or Flask for backend).

Database & API Proficiency: Proficient in working with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and APIs for seamless integration.

Cloud & DevOps Exposure: Experience or understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and version control systems (e.g., Git) is highly beneficial.
