About the Role Tower Semiconductor is seeking a University Relations Recruiter to lead the strategy and execution of early-career talent pipelines. You will serve as the primary brand ambassador to leading engineering universities, building campus partnerships and guiding students through the hiring process to fuel a strong engineering pipeline. What You'll Do
- Build strategic alliances with university career centers, engineering department heads, professors, and student organizations (IEEE, SWE, NSBE, SHPE).
- Target core universities known for strong Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, and Computer Engineering programs.
- Plan, organize, and host campus events such as tech talks, lab tours, panel discussions, hackathons, and traditional career fairs.
- Proactively source, screen, and interview undergrad, Master's, and Ph.D. candidates for internship, co-op, and new college graduate roles, and assist Experienced Hire recruiters as needed.
- Partner with engineering leadership to translate technical requirements (e.g., RF design, silicon photonics, wafer fabrication, process engineering) into recruiting plans.
- Manage the full selection process from technical assessments to offer negotiation and close.
- Design and execute a robust summer internship experience with executive lunch-and-learns, technical project presentations, and networking events.
- Oversee end-of-term performance evaluations to convert high-performing interns into full-time hires.
- Collaborate with marketing to tailor messaging and digital collateral for early-career tech talent and maintain accurate ATS data while tracking key metrics (cost-per-hire, offer acceptance, diversity goals). What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of corporate recruiting experience with a strong focus on university relations or campus recruitment.
- Prior experience in the semiconductor, hardware engineering, aerospace, or deep-tech manufacturing sectors is highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Exceptional interpersonal, public speaking, and presentation skills; ability to connect authentically with students, faculty, and executive stakeholders.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to handle high-volume event logistics and multiple concurrent hiring timelines.
- Travel willingness to up to 40–50% during peak campus recruiting seasons (Fall and Spring). Nice to Have
