Job title: Unit Supervisor (2nd Shift- 1PM- 9:30PM)
About the Role The Unit Supervisor (2nd Shift, 1PM–9:30PM) will oversee a team of production analysts and technicians to ensure production standards are consistently met. This role coordinates daily production activities, conducts audits and inspections, and provides guidance and support to team members, working closely with the Production Supervisor and other department leaders to develop and implement production improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Inventory Management: monitor and track inventory levels; order supplies; implement systems to optimize inventory; conduct regular audits and coordinate with Purchasing to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Safety and Compliance: enforce safety protocols; conduct regular safety training; ensure compliance with regulations; perform safety inspections and address hazards; maintain accurate safety records.
- Team Mentorship: mentor junior team members; foster growth and skill development; collaborate with cross-functional teams to align processes and achieve goals.
- High Impact Behaviors: model leadership by example; drive team engagement and development; pursue operational efficiency with clear goals and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field with at least 2 years of experience or equivalent exposure to fundamental theories and concepts.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL).
- In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and practices; experience with inventory management software.
- Ability to develop and implement inventory optimization strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good understanding of international trade laws and customs regulations.

- The estimated salary starts at $75,000/year. Starting pay depends on factors such as skills, experience, and location.
