About the Role Teamsters Local 445 is seeking candidates for a year-long Union Organizing Fellowship based in Rock Tavern, NY. Fellows will learn hands-on organizing skills, supported by expert union organizers, to build worker power and win gains from employers. This full-time fellowship offers close mentorship, practical experience in organizing workers, and opportunities for growth within the local union. What You'll Do
- Meet consistently with Organizing Mentor
- Take increasing responsibility for organizing projects
- Learn and implement tried and true organizing methods and tactics for building worker power
- Communicate effectively and consistently with mentors, workers, and community members
- Meet one-on-one with worker leaders to train and inspire them What We're Looking For

- Excellent communication skills and consistent punctuality
