We are growing – expanding our customer reach and market share! As an Underwriting Sr. Consultant for Lincoln's Executive Benefits Team, you will support employer owned life insurance programs focused on executive and employee benefit funding solutions. This role underwrites COLI/BOLI/ICOLI programs while ensuring strong risk selection, regulatory compliance, and institutional underwriting discipline. The ideal candidate brings deep COLI expertise, medical and financial underwriting judgment, and the ability to partner effectively with sales, product, case management, and reinsurance teams.
What you'll be doing
- Underwrite Guaranteed Issue (GI) and Simplified Issue (SI) COLI cases in accordance with carrier guidelines and program parameters
- Analyze lives within executive and broad based COLI/BOLI/ICOLI programs
- Determine appropriate ratings, underwriting actions, and capacity decisions
- Review compensation data, employee classifications, and benefit structures
- Assess financial justification consistent with employer owned life insurance standards
