About the Role This role focuses on underwriting new and renewal business in the Northeast Region to drive profitable growth for AIG's Primary Casualty group. You will set a high standard of service, mentor junior underwriters, and help grow the broker network to generate new business. What You'll Do
- Underwrite and price loss sensitive (deductible/SIR) and guaranteed cost business for Workers' Compensation, General Liability and Commercial Auto Liability.
- Communicate risk appetite, deal structures, terms and conditions to brokers and clients, and build relationships across the market.
- Work collaboratively with home office, distribution, actuary, claims, loss control, premium audit, credit and legal to develop and maintain a profitable portfolio of primary accounts.
