About the Role
- Collecting and analyzing of general economic and sector specific research;
- Initiating, leading and conducting the deal underwriting process in close cooperation with origination and market underwriting teams;
- Approving transactions within own underwriting authority or prepare transaction referrals when capacity required beyond own underwriting authority;
- Presenting transactions internally, engaging with risk management and defending own positions with energy, taking into consideration client needs and Swiss Re's risk appetite;
- Assist the underwriting lead in internal and external discussions;
- Assisting the Underwriting Manager in market screening and the definition of appropriate policies and underwriting guidance.
