Job title: Underwriter Private Risks ICP (M/V/X)
About the Role Join Atradius ICP's Risk Underwriting department in Namur to assess coverage requests primarily for consumer credit and private lease contracts. You will analyze the portfolio of prospects, apply the defined risk guidelines, and take autonomous decisions. You will also defend and explain your decisions to the insured when requested and prepare dossiers for the Credit Committee, while staying informed about BEL/LUX economic developments.
What You'll Do
- Analyze coverage requests, primarily consumer credit and private lease contracts
- Analyze the client portfolios of prospects
- Apply the risk strategy as described in the guidelines
- Take autonomous decisions
- Defend and explain decisions to the insured on request
- Prepare files for the Credit Committee
- Monitor economic developments in Belgium and Luxembourg
What We're Looking For
- Strong rigor and analytical skills with a synthesis mindset and the ability to make quick decisions
- A proven ability to identify risks, a results-driven mindset, and a focus on client satisfaction
- A higher education qualification; interest in current economic affairs; ideally first experience as a financial/credit analyst
- Good command of Dutch and French, written and spoken
Nice to Have
- Dutch and French language skills are desirable
