Job title: Undergraduate Research Fellow- Lepage Center Fellow 2026-2027
About the Role The Lepage Center Undergraduate Fellow for the 2026-27 academic year will work with the Center Director, the Assistant Director, and the Lepage graduate student fellow(s) to bring historical scholarship and perspective to bear on contemporary events. The fellow will plan and facilitate programs and events, assist with marketing and promotion on the Hindsights blog and social media, and identify and communicate with undergraduate student clubs and groups to promote the Center. Duties include attending weekly meetings and other tasks as assigned.

What We're Looking For
- Students entering junior or senior year at Villanova University
- History or History-related majors/minors (including Art History) or Communications preferred
- Work-study preferred but open to all students; eligibility to receive payment
- Must meet Villanova, Pennsylvania, and U.S. eligibility and payment requirements
- Availability to work approximately 10 hours per week during fall 2025 and spring 2026 semesters; duties performed when classes are in session
- Application requires resume and a one-page cover letter in the online system; interview by the Director and Assistant Director; onboarding coordinated by Human Resources
Nice to Have
- Strong interest in public history and engagement with student programs
- The fellow is strongly encouraged to apply to earn academic credit through the Ellis Center for Undergraduate Students (formerly OUS)
- To earn academic credit, complete the online OUS Internship application and enroll in HIS 2993 (three-credit History internship course)
