About the Role You will implement and continuously develop management systems according to ISO 14001 and ISO 50001, including planning, execution and follow-up of internal audits. You will assume legally required roles such as environmental, energy or hazardous materials officer and ensure their proper execution. You will secure all environmental permits, coordinate required measures, monitor their implementation and ensure legal compliance. You will continuously optimize operational environmental protection and energy performance indicators, conduct regular monitoring and tracking of environmental performance, taking corporate guidelines into account. You will advise, train and support leaders and staff in all questions of environmental protection and resource conservation, participate in global corporate teams on environmental and sustainability standards, apply for funding, and build and maintain hazardous materials management including operating instructions. What You'll Do
- Implement and develop management systems per ISO 14001 and ISO 50001, including planning, execution and follow-up of internal audits.
- Assume legally mandated roles (environmental, energy, or hazardous materials officer) and ensure proper performance.
- Secure environmental permits, coordinate measures, monitor implementation, and ensure legal compliance.
- Continuously optimize environmental protection and energy KPIs; conduct regular monitoring and tracking of environmental performance.
- Advise, train, and support leadership and employees on environmental protection and resource conservation; participate in global teams to align with sustainability standards; apply for funding; develop and maintain hazardous materials management including operating instructions. What We're Looking For
- Completed technical degree with emphasis on environmental engineering or environmental protection.
- Strong knowledge of energy efficiency and environmental protection; advantageous to have certifications as waste or hazardous materials officer.
- Very good knowledge of relevant standards and management systems, especially ISO 14001 and ISO 50001.
- Confident presence, strong communication skills, and a self‑reliant, structured work style.
- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint and SAP; very good English; willingness to travel. Nice to Have
