About the Role Jump Trading Group is seeking an experienced UI front-end developer to join our UI platform team. You will build and extend our core UI platform to empower business-critical applications across the firm, working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment that emphasizes pair-programming, testing, and delivering high-quality code. What You'll Do
- Build and extend our core UI platform and enable business-critical applications using it
- Collaborate with a wide range of teams to help them build their own applications on the platform
- Work in a modern web development environment using React/TypeScript, with a focus on simplicity and delivering value
- Embrace agile practices (sprints, pair-programming, testing, estimation) and ensure reliable, high-quality software delivery
- Help developers be more productive by designing an approachable, well-documented platform What We're Looking For
- At least 4+ years of professional experience building web-based UIs
- Extensive experience with React, TypeScript, WebSocket protocols, REST, and UI unit-testing
- Comfortable working in an agile, collaborative environment (sprints, pair-programming, testing, estimation)
- Strong empathy for developers who will use your platform and foresight to balance improvements with change management
- Reliable and predictable availability Nice to Have
- An eye for quality design
- Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, containers, CI/CD pipelines

- Annual base salary range: $200,000–$250,000 USD
