About the Role
Canonical's Device Delivery Team works with tier-1 OEM and ODM customers to pre-load Ubuntu Desktop and Ubuntu Core, bringing Ubuntu directly to millions of users. As a Software Engineering Manager, you will lead and manage the software engineering team to deliver OEM pre-load solutions and enable seamless Ubuntu deployment across hardware platforms.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the software engineering team to deliver OEM pre-load solutions for Ubuntu Desktop and Ubuntu Core.
- Collaborate with tier-1 OEM and ODM customers to understand requirements and ensure successful deployments.
- Drive delivery schedules, engineering quality, and adoption of best practices within the team.
- Partner with Canonical's Device Delivery Team to align on roadmap and customer expectations.
