Job title: Ubuntu Enablement Engineer
Canonical is seeking an Ubuntu Enablement Engineer based in Taipei to drive Ubuntu adoption across enterprise environments, helping customers deploy, optimize, and scale Ubuntu in cloud, data science, AI, engineering, and IoT initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Provide hands-on enablement support for Ubuntu deployments in customer environments, including on-premises and cloud
- Collaborate with Canonical engineering and field teams to improve Ubuntu enablement for enterprise workloads
- Create and deliver enablement content, test scenarios, and best practices for customers and partners
- Support sales engineering with technical guidance and demonstrations
What We're Looking For
- Experience with Linux administration, Ubuntu, virtualization, and container tech
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and automation/scripting (Bash, Python)
- Excellent communication and ability to work with enterprise customers in Taipei
- Willingness to travel regionally as needed or onsite in Taipei
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in open-source communities or Canonical products
- Knowledge of Ubuntu Server, Ubuntu Desktop, and related ecosystems
