About the Role Turbomachinery Technician I is sought to assemble, test, and troubleshoot mechanical components and systems in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards. This role offers on-the-job training for an outstanding candidate and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do
- Assemble, test, and troubleshoot mechanical components and systems in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Operate and maintain a variety of hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment.
- Follow safety guidelines and SOPs.
- Provide feedback to manufacturing engineering and production teams for continuous improvement.
- Complete documentation.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certificate or associate degree in a related field is a plus.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly or a related field (training provided).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and assembly instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Positive team player who can also work well independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $18-$21 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.
