Tunel (TBM) Produccion Manager (Barcelona)

We are seeking an experienced TBM Production Manager to join our team in Barcelona. The successful candidate will oversee and coordinate all Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with project schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the planning, organization, and execution of TBM operations, including excavation, lining installation, and support systems.
• Manage and lead the TBM production team, including operators, mechanics, and support personnel.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all TBM-related activities.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving any deviations or issues that may arise.
• Optimize production processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with other departments and subcontractors to ensure the successful integration of project activities.
• Prepare production reports, performance analyses, and continuous improvement proposals.
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities for the TBM and associated equipment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with proven experience in Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) operations and management.
• Strong knowledge of tunnel excavation techniques, geology, and geotechnics.
• In-depth understanding of health and safety regulations within tunnel construction projects.
• Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines.
• Fluency in Spanish; knowledge of English and/or Catalan will be considered an asset.
• Availability to work in Barcelona and, when required, with flexible working hours.
• Valid Category B driver's license.
