A highly regarded California law firm has a rare opportunity to join an established and successful Ventura County trusts and estates practice, working closely with a seasoned partner and developing toward a significant long-term role within the practice.

This is an especially compelling opportunity for an attorney who wants the benefits of an established client base and sophisticated work without needing to bring a book of business. The firm is open to candidates ranging from experienced associates through partner level and offers substantial flexibility, including a hybrid schedule requiring only two days per week in the office.

The Opportunity

Step into an established practice with long-term growth potential – Work directly with a seasoned partner and build relationships with an existing client base, with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility within the practice.

Handle sophisticated estate planning, trusts, trust administration, family wealth planning, and related transactional matters, including LLCs, contracts, real estate, and general counsel work.

Hybrid flexibility – only 2 days per week in the office, providing meaningful flexibility while maintaining the client and partner interaction essential to a successful trusts and estates practice.

Open to attorneys with 5+ years of experience, from mid-level associate through partner. No portable book of business is required, and a Tax LL.M. is a plus but not necessary.

Ideal candidates will have strong ties to Ventura County, excellent interpersonal and client-service skills, and an interest in building a lasting practice in the local community.
