1. Job Purpose

The purpose of this role is to ensure a clean and safe office environment for all who enter the premises. This includes but is not limited to staff, customers, contractors, and visitors.

Cleaning

Duties

• ▪ Ensure good housekeeping in

• all spaces – Toilets, Kitchens, Truck Park and Truck yard.

• ▪ Responsible for floor care,

• performing various surface tasks including vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, and

• spot-cleaning carpets of all office and Truck park areas.

• ▪ Responsible for the

• maintenance of furniture such as tables, chairs, and counters, carrying out

• tasks such as dusting, spraying, and cleaning.

• ▪ Responsible for removing trash in all offices and Truck Park

• areas.

• ▪ Responsible for daily cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms.

• ▪ Responsible for cleaning of

• all windows.

• ▪ Perform dusting,

• disinfecting, and polishing of surfaces and furniture as required.

• and contractors follow safety regulations with regards to speed limit,

• designated parking, no smoking in dangerous zones, horseplay, etc.

• ▪ Ensure Zero injuries, ZERO Spills and ZERO Equipment damage.

• ▪ Assist other departments

• when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.

• ▪ Responsible for reporting

• repairs and replacements encountered when executing daily tasks.

• ▪ Participate in all Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality

• (SHEQ) meetings and Fire drills.

• ▪ Know the Emergency Response

• Plan and use as guided.

• ▪ Perform ad hoc duties as

• required from time to time.

• 4. Academic and Trade Qualifications

• ▪ High School diploma or

• equivalent is advantageous

• ▪ Additional courses in

• cleaning will be advantageous

• 5. Work Experience & Skills

• ▪ Proven experience in a similar role

• ▪ Able to use a variety of cleaning products and equipment safely

• ▪ Able to stand for extended periods of time

• ▪ Excellent organisational

skills

• ▪ Ability to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision

• ▪ Able to work mornings,

• evenings, and weekends as required

• ▪ Knowledge of health and safety standards
