About the Role
Join Alstom as a full-time Trouble Shooter Technician based in Bucharest, responsible for technical troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning at customer sites to ensure availability and performance of Alstom products. You’ll lead troubleshooting activities during PI, pre-warranty, and commissioning, contribute to fleet checks and technical investigations, and collaborate with project teams, warranty support, and subcontractors while upholding safety standards. What You'll Do
- Carry out troubleshooting and repairs during PI, pre-warranty, and commissioning activities
- Perform fleet checks and register deviations in Failure Management database
- Support operation helpdesk and field modification implementation
- Execute test procedures and failure analysis
- Provide technical expertise to operators and subcontractors
- Ensure compliance with Alstom and customer EHS and security rules
- Lead troubleshooting teams and conduct peer reviews when needed
- Contribute to return-of-experience initiatives What We're Looking For
- Degree or certification in a technical field (mechanical or electrical/electronic)
- Over 10 years of technical troubleshooting, investigation, and testing experience
- Field experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of EHS standards and processes
- Familiarity with Alstom products or similar systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- English language proficiency (mandatory)
- Experience with railway safety and engineering knowledge (desirable)
