About the Role Navan is seeking a high-impact Travel Payments Consultant to serve as the lead advisor for our clients. This customer-facing, strategic role requires the ability to articulate how a payment architecture could impact month-end reconciliation and to address global tax fragmentation. You will design the 'Financial Blueprint' for global companies, guiding clients through the friction between a frictionless checkout and the hard walls of international tax compliance and e-invoicing mandates. What You'll Do
- Lead discovery workshops with client CFOs and CTOs to audit their current payment stacks and identify opportunities for efficiencies and optimization.
- Act as a trusted advisor to translate complex payments architecture into actionable strategies and roadmaps for global organizations.
- Help clients navigate tax compliance, invoicing mandates, and reconciliation considerations while enabling seamless checkout experiences. What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in payments strategy or advisory with strong client-facing and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate at the boardroom level and design holistic payment architectures.
- Familiarity with global tax fragmentation, e-invoicing mandates, and month-end reconciliation processes.
