About the Role Roche is seeking an internship candidate for Travel & Expense Compliance to support compliance assessments of employee reimbursement activities and related healthcare reviews, ensuring alignment with Company policies, procedures, and external regulatory requirements. This internship provides exposure to data analysis, documentation in Concur, and opportunities to contribute to process improvements.
What You'll Do
- Responsible for assessing compliance of employee reimbursement activities as well as associated healthcare compliance reviews in a timely and accurate manner, against the Company’s Policies, Procedures and External regulatory requirements.
- Clearly documents all compliance assessment (i.e. assessment results) activities in Concur during claim processing.
- Performs other relevant support activities (e.g., validating/performing data analysis/testing contributing to reporting to affiliates/Compliance Projects).
- Escalates issues to superior/RSS Line Manager when required.
- Engages in networking with colleagues from other business functions when required.
- Supports the team in performing operational activities and identifies/improves opportunities within the current operational process.
What We're Looking For
- Undergraduate student from reputable universities in relevant fields of study (prefer business, law or finance related major).
- Available for a minimum period of 6 months.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
- Proactive at work and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong analytical skills and great attention to details.
- Able to challenge the status quo with skepticism and is passionate about process validation/improvement.
- Possess strong communication skills and a good record of extracurricular activities.
- Good interpersonal skills, able to work in a team effectively, deliver on commitments.
