Transportation Manager
Everest FZE is seeking an experienced Transportation Manager to oversee the daily operations of its tanker truck fleet and coordinate petroleum transportation activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for fleet utilization, driver supervision, transportation scheduling, vehicle maintenance, operational costs, and compliance with applicable UAE regulations and health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily tanker truck operations, transportation schedules, and driver assignments.
- Coordinate vehicle movements, deliveries, loading, and unloading activities.
- Plan transportation routes and monitor fuel consumption, vehicle utilization, and operating costs.
- Supervise drivers and monitor attendance, performance, and compliance with company procedures.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance, inspections, registration, and insurance renewals.
- Ensure compliance with applicable UAE traffic laws, transportation regulations, and road safety requirements.
- Coordinate with customers, suppliers, terminals, and relevant authorities to ensure timely transportation services.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, delivery documents, vehicle expenses, and operational reports.
- Handle transportation delays, vehicle breakdowns, and operational emergencies.
- Ensure compliance with company HSE procedures and the safe transportation and handling of petroleum products.
Skills
Requirements

Proven experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management.

Previous experience managing tanker trucks is highly preferred.

Experience in the oil and gas, petroleum, or fuel transportation industry is an advantage.

Good knowledge of UAE transportation regulations, road safety, and tanker truck operations.

Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage drivers, transportation schedules, vehicle maintenance, and operating costs.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management systems.

Valid UAE driving license.
