About the Role Join Nutreco as a Transport Specialist to coordinate and optimize transportation and distribution operations, ensuring service level, cost efficiency and quality. You will manage carrier relationships, plan routes, monitor logistics KPIs, and support continuous improvement and TMS tooling across cross-functional teams.
What You'll Do
- Execute the transport strategy and ensure service and cost objectives are met
- Manage relationships with carriers and suppliers, monitoring their performance
- Plan routes and track orders through to delivery
- Monitor logistics KPIs such as service level, cost and load optimization
- Supervise operations to ensure compliance with quality, safety and environmental regulations
- Prepare and analyze operational reports to support decision-making
- Participate in and coordinate logistics projects, ensuring timelines, costs and objectives while collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Drive continuous improvement and support the implementation of tools (TMS)
What We're Looking For
- At least 5 years of experience in transport, logistics and supply chain
- University degree or master's in ADE, Logistics or a related field
- Analytical mindset and experience with KPIs
- Strong organizational, communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proficiency with digital tools (Excel, TMS, ERP) and Power BI
Nice to Have
- Experience implementing logistics tools and TMS deployments (preferred)
