Job title: Transaction Banking Sales Associate
About the Role Join MUFG's Transaction Banking Sales team to drive revenue growth and deliver high-value treasury solutions. This hybrid role focuses on sales execution, client engagement, and cross-functional collaboration with TRMs, TMCs, and other partners to meet client needs and regulatory requirements.
What You'll Do
- Support overall Transaction Banking Sales team in achieving revenue and activity goals.
- Partner with assigned TRMs and TMCs to create product solutions based on client needs, best practices, and regulatory demands.
- Proactively identify cross-sell opportunities and reduce non-sales activities for TRMs and TMCs.
- Participate in client proposals, meetings, and follow-up; lead meeting-specific follow-ups.
- Prepare draft pricing models, conduct working capital analyses, and support related reviews.
- Assist with research and content creation for complex proposals using Proposal Library and Resource Center.
- Collaborate with team leads, TRMs, TMCs, and internal partners to design client/prospect communications, proposals, account structures, pricing, and annual reviews.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and internal partners via phone/web; may conduct technical product demonstrations via webinar.
- Support pre-call research and post-call analysis; respond to internal or client queries on product capabilities.
- Build a network within Transaction Banking, Product, and CCSU to aid process management and issue resolution.
- Oversee onboarding within Client Delivery team as needed.
- Travel may be required (0-25%).
What We're Looking For
- Minimum three-year applicable work experience in treasury management and/or sales.
- Degree from a four-year college (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent work experience strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of corporate treasury and financial operations needs; understanding of ERP and accounting systems.
- Proven verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a team and foster a collaborative environment with all business partners.
- Effective time management and prioritizing skills; ability to deliver extraordinary client experiences.
- Ability to take ownership of projects and see them through to completion.
- Travel may be required (0-25%).
- Passion to drive for results.
Nice to Have
- CTP certifications preferred.
- AFP involvement preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- The typical base pay range for this role is between $117,000 - $190,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location.
- This role may also be eligible for discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
