Job title: Training Supervisor
DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Training Supervisor to develop, administer, and conduct training and safety programs for associates, ensuring processes and documentation meet company, regulatory, ISO, and corporate requirements.
What You'll Do
- Develop, administer, and conduct training and safety programs; ensure all processes are documented to meet requirements.
- Provide technical writing resources to develop and maintain accurate Work Instructions for all processes.
- Train associates on job functions; document training; ensure regulatory and customer safety requirements incorporated into policies.
- Develop and conduct initial new-employee and refresher programs; ensure company, customer, and regulatory requirements are met.
- Develop, coordinate, and conduct job-specific/process training; ensure staff are trained on their functions.
- Coordinate and direct writing assignments of Technical Writers; document processes.
- Develop site-level Trainers and Technical Writers through Train-the-Trainer and Train-the-Writer; provide coaching and mentoring.
- Administer Site Safety Program: safety procedures, audits for compliance, and advise management on safety concerns.
- Advise Site Safety Committee; identify concerns and recommend improvements.
- Identify Training/Writing staffing needs; interview candidates and develop staff for an effective team.
- Coordinate corporate-sponsored training programs for site personnel.
- Document system processes in manuals; manage procedure development and document control to support ISO and Management of Change (MOC).
- Work with Customer Representatives, Operations, Inventory Control, and Customer Service to ensure processes are accurate and changes communicated per MOC systems.
- Develop flexible training schedules to meet special requests and business needs; participate in Quest Workshops as requested.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience (preferred)
- 1-3 years logistics or manufacturing industry experience (preferred)
- 1-3 years experience in lead, supervisor or management role (required)
