About the Role Abbott is seeking a per-diem Trainer to deliver Face-2-Face training to Acelis Connected Health’s home testing customers on fingerprint blood sample collection, PT/INR device operation, and reporting responsibilities. This role is state/city specific and involves travel to customers’ homes within the trainer’s geographic area. The position requires professional interaction, documentation, and secure handling of PHI.
What You'll Do
- Remotely set up training appointments with customers or their caregivers.
- Travel to customers' home settings to demonstrate and instruct proper use of PT/INR equipment.
- Explain test reporting options and maintain professional communications.
- Accurately document and submit patient training records electronically.
- Maintain communications with Acelis Connected Health via phone, email, and internet; use secure encrypted email for PHI.
- Travel with reliable transportation; adhere to location constraints (live within 25 miles of hiring location); typical travel expectations include a minimum of 100 miles roundtrip.
What We're Looking For
- Current Registered Nurse with clinical experience.
- Direct experience/exposure to anticoagulation management or homecare is preferred.
- Health education training experience a definite plus.
- Proficiency with computers and smart devices; capable of basic website/application troubleshooting.
- Ability to communicate professionally and document findings accurately.
- Willingness to travel; reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Completion of required health screening, background check, and pre-employment drug screening.
- Florida-based candidates require an additional background step.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base pay: $22.45 – $44.85 per hour (hourly). This is a per-diem/temporary assignment.
