About this role
About the Role A 2-year Young Professional Program combining courses in Data Science, Operations Research and Personal Development Skills with hands-on projects. You will work on several projects with other young professionals and experienced employees, and regular coaching meetings help you discover which role suits you best (developer/engineer; business consultant; analytics or implementation consultant). What You'll Do
- Follow the 2-year program with courses in Data Science, Operations Research and Personal Development Skills, while working on several projects with peers and experienced staff.
- Participate in regular coaching meetings to determine your best-fit role (developer/engineer, business consultant, analytics or implementation consultant).
- Experience the ORTEC Bootcamp introductory phase, with activities across Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Romania, to boost your skills and team spirit.
- Build your professional network by collaborating across projects and with other trainees and ORTEC staff.
- Engage in social activities outside of work (squash, football, paddling, or drinks) to foster community. What We're Looking For
- Starters in their mid-career with some work experience who can follow courses from the Young Professional Program.
- Interest in courses in Data Science, Operations Research and personal and professional development.
- Willingness to work on multiple projects and teams; good collaboration and communication with customers.
- Openness to exploring different future roles (developer/engineer, business consultant, analytics or implementation consultant) and room to grow as a professional.
- Basic soft skills (communication, teamwork) and eagerness to develop people skills useful in current and future roles. Nice to Have
- Exposure to soft skills like conversation techniques, customer communication, teamwork and project work (as part of the program). Compensation & Benefits
