About the Role An entry-level Trainee role intended to develop into a shop or field technician over a 3-year training plan. You will assist with mechanical repairs, maintenance, diagnostics, and basic troubleshooting on Volvo Construction Equipment and related brands, gaining hands-on experience across engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, computers, electrical and welding tasks. What You'll Do
- Assist shop/field technicians with repair jobs as needed.
- Attend training classes to increase equipment knowledge.
- Service and repair work under close supervision.
- Demonstrate some knowledge in diagnosing, testing and repairing heavy equipment and related machinery.
- Understand basic repair diagrams and schematics.
- Work on or around heavy construction equipment, which requires climbing and accessing hard-to-reach areas.
